The main objective during my residency at Fish Factory was to explore the visual side of the project.
I was focused on exploring the similarities between the Icelandic landscapes, volcanoes, lava and the cracks opened on the earth, to the feelings that remain in your body once you have been sexually assaulted: fear, rage, shame, nausea. The result is a collection of dry-points and different monotypes with the same sinuous and mysterious shapes of the landscapes surrounding Stöðvarfjörður, using the small (and powerful) etching press in the factory.
